Are you caught in a trap of this world’s gloom and doom
Claw out of your rage, or you’ll stay in that tomb
Take your inner-child’s hand, run far from the scream
Let’s just say you deserve a gorgeous new scene
Put down your telephone, that ringing time-taker
There’s several sites to choose from, redeem your fun caper
“I’ve never gone camping,” you often bemuse
Just give yourself a boost, no need for fancy tools
Kiss the city goodbye say hello to these lands
In case there’s a need bring some gloves for your hands
Rinse all of your thoughts in the winds of these hills
What will you decide? It’s a battle of the wills
Vocalize your frustrations, you aim to be healed
Take a whiff of fresh air, smell the flowers of the field
To vacation is to validate the sacrament of rest
God commands us to pause a bit, will you pass this time test?
Come wander outside, scrawl your name in our dirt
It’s a place to be free, nothing here that can hurt
Say hi to Roger rabbit, tip your hat to Henry horse
If you’re open to believing, feel a supernatural force
Lift your eyes to the sky, there’s Fred falcon flying east
From coyotes to groundhogs, come gander at these beasts
Veto the voice that sneers, ”You don’t deserve to venture”
Reply, “This natural treasure is impossible to measure!”
Now swallow your swagger, stop straddling the fence
You’re known to be someone who’s got common sense
“Cast your bread on the water,” King Solomon once wrote
Who knows who you’ll see here, maybe Billy-bob goat
Throw some wood in our pit, grab a bottle of lighter fluid
Strike a match on your shoe, get ready, set—do it!
Our dust is quite dazzling, you’ll smell of organic smoke
Everyone is welcome here, even if you’re dirt broke
Action takes courage, you’re meant to see a pattern
Come poke at the embers, or see the rings around Saturn
Now spread on some bread, smooth peanuts and jam
Or just peel back a can of reduced-sodium SPAM
There’s no right way or wrong way to taste the outside
There’s only the courage to ask, “Will I decide?”
Recover, replenish, revive and renew
Or sit there and deny you’re in God’s perfect view
Be positive and purposeful, ignore that heckling hiss
Trust in your Heavenly Father, He’s not hit or miss
Tell Him you’re seeking His gracious good blessings
His Word is what waters us like green growing saplings
Life is all about priorities, whatever can quench our thirst
If you’re lonely or lost, just try coming here first
